Barbara Gunselman opened her embellishing boutique in October 2007, and it’s been a hit ever since.  The shop offers a great “girls’ night out” atmosphere; any day or evening a group of five-year-olds or 40-year-olds can be found having a blast.  “This crazy adventure just fell into our laps; we were naturally led into our role as entrepreneurs,” says Rob, Barbara’s husband and helping hand.  Barbara says plans are already in the works to open more shops.

Barbara’s interest in retail began with Bella Bandanas, a line of items she created while going through cancer treatment.  She was inspired to sell the custom designed bandanas to other women, and eventually added new products such as headbands and belts.  Barbara continues to sell the items in Bling It On! while also distributing them for sale to area hospitals and cancer treatment centers.
